Jim Kilmetis, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Jim is a hands-on leader who “cuts to the chase,” ensuring his team and his clients stay on track and deliver with integrity. Jim, the co-founder of Selling Communications, has nearly 20 years of sales and sales management experience in business publishing. He held management positions at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich and Bill Communications (absorbed by VNU Business Media), where he more than tripled sales in his territory, and was associate publisher of Incentive magazine during its most successful years, the mid-1990s. Every business decision Jim makes is guided by the principle that, for ultimate success, there must be true integration between the marketing “story” and the sales effort. He is adept at conveying this concept to companies as it may apply to their own weak marketing-sales links. Once the weaknesses are recognized, Solata can help clients align strategies for ultimate sales success and business growth. Jim’s ongoing service to his clients is to add and customize new products, ideas and concepts to help build their businesses.

Nick Gazivoda, Vice President of Sales

Nick brings clients a particular perspective, having risen up through the ranks of Selling Communications Inc., one of the first major users and resellers of Solata technology. Nick began right out of college as a telephone salesperson for SCI’s target marketing agency and rose to become director of sales in charge of major integrated marketing, sales, and media accounts. In this capacity, he not only sells technology but also uses technology to achieve his sales goals. This first-hand experience of technology from both the sales force and management’s view makes him an ideal partner in determining precisely how to take advantage of Solata to meet specific client needs, both short- and long-term. Nick works closely with the implementation team to make sure that what gets promised, gets delivered. Nick is also true to his roots: he is an accomplished musician of Albanian folk songs who has performed throughout the United States.
